User roles
Access to the CSL SIM Insight platform is controlled through defined User Roles. Your assigned role determines which areas of the platform you can access and which actions you are permitted to perform.
Why Roles Matter
Roles ensure users have access to the tools and information they need — without exposing functionality that is not relevant to their responsibilities.
This approach:
- Maintains security across the platform
- Reduces operational risk
- Keeps the interface clear and focused
- Supports structured management of large SIM Estates
What Roles Control
Each role defines access to specific:
- Features
- Reports
- Actions
For example, some users may be able to activate or move SIMs between Groups, while others may have view-only access for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Role Evolution
User roles and associated permissions may be updated over time as the platform develops.
This documentation reflects the current behaviour of the platform. If changes are introduced, the relevant sections will be updated to explain how access and permissions are affected.
