Zone Charges

The Zone Charges pages provide visibility of usage and charges incurred outside the home zone defined for a SIM group. This includes both in-month activity and historical, billed data.

Zone charges are shown separately from other usage charges, as this type of activity is often location-specific and irregular. Reviewing zone charges helps identify when SIMs are operating outside their expected coverage and whether a different group configuration may be more appropriate.

Access to financial information on Zone Charges pages depends on your user role. Users with customer-based roles see a usage-only view without charge values.

The Zone Charges page shows out-of-zone usage and charges incurred to date during the current billing period. Values can be selected to drill into the SIMs responsible for the usage.

Charges shown here represent confirmed usage only and are not forecast forward, as out-of-zone activity is often sporadic.

Zone Charges History provides a month-by-month view of out-of-zone usage and charges for previous billing periods. Each record reflects the final billed position for that month and aligns with billing data.

This historical view is useful when validating invoices, identifying recurring roaming patterns, or assessing whether group zone coverage remains appropriate over time.
