Insight History
Insight History provides a monthly, point-in-time view of your SIM Estate at the end of each billing period. It shows how SIMs were grouped, what usage occurred, and how charges were calculated for that month.
Each record reflects the final state of your SIMs at month end and aligns with the billing data for that period. This makes Insight History the primary reference for reviewing historical usage and understanding how monthly charges were derived.
Data for the previous billing month is typically published within the first three to four days of the new month, once all usage records have been received and verified.
Access to Insight History depends on your user role. Users with customer-based roles see a simplified, usage-only view without financial or tariff information.
Monthly billing breakdown
Insight History effectively provides a detailed breakdown of your monthly bill. For each chargeable group, it records:
- The number of SIMs activated during the month
- The number of SIMs in the group at month end, including active and deactivated SIMs
- Usage and allowances applied across each zone
- Charges contributing to the final billed total
This structure makes it easier to validate billing outcomes and understand changes between months.
Exporting historical records
Historical billing data can be exported as a PDF document for offline review or sharing. The exported report summarises charges by group and shows how usage and allowances combine to produce the final monthly bill.
